All plants have something to teach us, and all plants can bring healing in some way. Plants have a unique relationship with the Earth, and the other organisms living on it. Even plants that may seem like they do not have a purpose, have a living intelligent spirit that has wisdom to share. Different plants should be approached in different ways, and through understanding this we can enrich our experiences with them
Baneful Herbs
There are many different reasons that a plant can be considered baneful. Baneful herbs are comprised of poisonous plants, “invasive” plants, psychoactive or intoxicating plants, thorns, brambles, carnivorous and carrion plants; all have characteristics that make humans stay away. These are plants that we have been taught to look at with suspicion, and some of them for good reason. However, there is more to be uncovered here in exploring the subtle natures of these plants and their spirits.
